Community Heroes Program
October 8th, 2007 4:49 PM

Happy Columbus day.  This may mean little to the workerbees not enjoying an extended weekend, but my oh my how government and bank workers love the fact that Columbus' sense of direction was less than perfect.  Anywho, I digress....

I am revamping my previously popular "Community Heroes program".  This program was initially designed to show appreciation for police, firefighters, and teachers who spend their lives giving to their communities, and saved many of them a good amount of money.  I have come to realize, however, that anyone can be a community hero, so I've re-written the criteria for this program.  ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE can take advantage of this program (at my discretion, of course).  Anyone who applies for a mortgage, line of credit, or equity loan and accompanies their application with either a letter or a verbal explanation (which will be verified) of something they've done to better their community or give their time to a good cause will be eligible.  What are they eligible for?  Well, here's the program in a nutshell:

Most times, there are junk fees associated with title companies, appraisers, (and yes, mortgage companies).  Most times, these fees are a cost of doing business, and cannot be waived for everyone, but if you are a community hero, these fees will either be negligible (if working with a participating partner) or compensated for by me.  Also, there are drastically reduced fees given to everyone who closes a loan within this programs guidelines**.  There will be a consultation and application process given free of charge (some others, such as quickenloans, charge an appraisal fee before they even do anything, basically to keep customers in their door after they give numbers that aren't the most competitive).  Reduced origination fees, appraisal reimbursement, no application fee, and a free consultation will save you thousands, but coupled with the lowest available interest rates, can save you tens of thousands over the life of a loan.  Also, as with all of my clients, you will receive lifetime support from the ACTT team.  Do something for your community today, and save money tomorrow!

**to meet community hero guidelines, you MUST be employed in a field directly related to community service OR submit a written description of your community involvement upon application.  A verbal description of your involvement is also satisfactory, but either way, the event(s) must be verified.  Also, this program IS available for those with qualifying non-occupant co-borrowers.  Your co-borrower must submit the same above criteria.  Call today to find out if you or someone you know is eligible for the Stonebridge Mortgage Corporation community heroes program sponsored by your favorite consultant, John
